Man Spends Thousands to Meet Online Chinese Girlfriend and Beats Her Up For Lying About Looks

A man in China beat up his online girlfriend, after spending thousands of dollars to see her in person. Huang and Xiaojin met on social networking app WeChat. Huang fell instantly in love after seeing Xiaojin’s beautiful photo, and decided to spend thousands of dollars to travel across China so they could finally meet.

Her big eyes, delicate face and rosy skin were extremely attractive, yet that’s not what he saw when he arrived in Suzhou where she works. Huang was in utter disbelief. He asked, “You can’t be Xiaojin right? How can there be such a huge difference?” Xiaojin answered, “It’s me. It’s just that the photo had been edited and I was wearing makeup. This is my bare face.”

The two got in heated argument and Huang in a fit of anger, assaulted Xiaojin. The two were taken to the police station but were let go after the issue was resolved amicably. Upon release Huang commented, “After today, I will never believe in online romance again!”
